Traverse City's Hero Col. Demas T. Craw Honored by local residents.

FORGOTTEN NO MORE

OUR GOAL

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED:
Citizens of the Grand Traverse County, Michigan have spoken. After months of efforts by local private citizens aided by many political leaders. The Traverse City VA Outpatient Clinic has been renamed in honor of a local hero Colonel Demas T.  Craw, WWII Veteran and Medal of Honor recipient who gave his life in combat in North Africa in November 1942...Our thanks go out to the Craw Family and all of those that helped make this possible. A Bronze Plaque is now embedded in the wall at the Traverse City Capital Airport paying tribute to this local hero.
